I can remember in Stuart Pearce's book that he tells of agonising over his starting team. Finally he settles on his ideal team that covers every position, attacking, defending, covering and producing. When he showed it to his wife she said ' wheres the goalkeeper?

agreed Macca is rubbish in the centre of the park... Really lacking in midfield with him in, does nothing but loose the ball and chases after his first touch.

It's his hook it to nobody in the channels so give possession away constantly that does me

For me this is our strongest 11 with the players we have available with White being injured. There’s an argument for having more workhorses in midfield with it being Newport away but with it being the opening day and seeing a picture of their pitch looking good why not let them worry about us instead of the other way around. Khan has had a good pre season and deserves to start.
