And in case you were wondering the kind of coverage Salford would get, their opening game v Stevenage is live on Sky.

Newport opening day again is just boring, 4 times in recent years now! Disappointed Salford and Orient away are Tuesday nights too, and Oldham as that was a good day despite the result last year.

The first 4 away fixtures are poor too.

Usually the promoted team gets coverage early on.

At least we will be playing Newport when there is grass on the pitch and no rugby markings.

Agree, decent weather can be expected in August and the condition of Newport's pitch on the first game will be at its best as no Rugby, football or bad weather will influence it for around 3 months.

What rubbish fixtures. Away in Wales on the opening day is a stinker and the game I was most looking forward to, Orient away, is a Tues in Feb. Gutted.

That won't favour Newport at all. They would prefer to play on a swamp! I wonder if they'll do what Lincoln used to do under John Beck and collaborate with a local farmer or two and plough it up especially

Awful, I mean just awful we have to play every team at home and AWAY!!

Just won't stand for it I mean I can't believe they don't let fans pick this is 2019 after all!!

In fact they should all be played in my back garden, free beer for all.

Sat Aug 3 - Newport County A
Sat Aug 10 - Morecambe H
Wed Aug 14 - Carabao Cup One
Sat Aug 17 - Carlisle United A
Tue Aug 20 - Leyton Orient H
Sat Aug 24 - Stevenage H
Wed Aug 28 - Carabao Cup Two
Sat Aug 31 - Exeter City A

In my opinion that's a tough start in August.

Keep the faith if points don't flow easily and we have a slow start, folks

Anyone else missing Notts County? For all the bluster & banter, when the fixture list comes out it really crashes home what crap games we have coming up.

League ends in April with last Away game at Scunthorpe

Hopefully Winner Crowned as Champions but I can see Bradford having say in that....

At least the first home game of the season is that of a fairly easy one if you look at Morcambe's form in previous seasons.

In fairness I'm delighted we've got Newport away as on holiday

As mentioned on the other thread, I wanted someone away, someone not close and a craphole - Newport tick all 3
