Was that our Braintree?

Postby Random Hero » Mon Apr 22, 2019 4:50 pm

Just remember the Conference winning season. Went into an away game off the back of a superb win and lost when it mattered.

We left that ground so despondent and thought we had blown it big style.

We all know what happened next... Green at Hereford and it was in our hands on the final day.

Keep believing. We've got this.

This!

I said that before.

Also, the season we got promoted 2700 at York, we got battered 3-1 before the Carlisle game.

The problem being is both those final games we’re at home.

Braintree was far worse imo. I’d scrubbed it from the memory bank

Nothing we can do now regarding todays result, time to put it behind us and move on to Saturday.

Plenty more twists and turns to come, I think it will go down to the last kick of the final game!

Its being on TV we always fail to turn up when we have the possibility of gaining new supporters, we should avoid the TV even though it makes us money.

We played a lot better today than we did against York and Braintree. We started well in those games and then we were awful. We kept going today and fought until the final whistle. We deserved at least a draw.

I remember us battering York and them scoring with basically there only shots at goal.

If we win on Saturday the world will look different again and yes it could be as significant as Hereford

But only if MK lose eh! If they do and we do the bizz we are as good as up so long as we don't do an impression of a colander at MK.
