Big decisions that cost us...

... Huddersfield, Liverpool to name just two...And there was yet another one to add to the list & there’s been plenty down the years.

Terrible decision Lino, thanks a bundle.
I backed my car into a cop car the other day, he just drove off, sometimes life's okay...

These things even themselves out over a season if you listen to the pundits , the best team won and we have to except it ...

No. We have been mugged off.

I will “except” nothing

From the replay I saw it looked like he was ever so slightly offside. Need to see it again to be sure, but it's a fine margin and like others have said, we get them our way at times too. Lincoln and Spireites fans in the last 2 years insist that our goals vs them shouldn't have stood.

I can almost guarantee that that decision will not be evened out in our remaining two fixtures.

It’s the sort of decision that can be the difference between automatic promotion or the play offs.

All decisions like this are the difference, not just this one.

Correct and if we had turned up today we may have got something from the game , but today we were given a lesson in how to finish when chances come along ..

I'm not sure we can blame it on that marginal offside. We didn't deserve the draw on balance.

Next Saturday is absolutely huge.

In football, they say you get what you deserve. We didn't deserve anything from that. A couple of goals for the improved second half but not enough to draw or win.

The only thing that cost us today where ourselves.

If folk watched that game and thought we deserved a point they need to get down to specsavers

Forget linesmen. We bottled it again. Out thought by a youth coach and got what we deserved again. Nothing. Serial bottlers with the exception of Pearce. Please tell me what Grant brings by the way?

Bottles not the right word. We didnt petform today but we didnt bottle anything. Everyone gave their all. Just not enough and we could have sneaked a point. We've seen others do it. It just didn't work out for us today. This is going to happen during a season. Lets justhope its not significant

I'm all for positivity but how can you honestly defend that? Placid, flat, cautious, plodding. We deserved nothing. They were far brighter and, sadly, much more ambitious. We went there second on the back of a thumping win and gifted them the initiative. It was rubbish, whatever scores went for us. Grant awful yet again, ditto Jones and Sweeney, Benning hid. Yes we're still 3rd but yet again we have failed to show up for a big away game so how does that inspire confidence for a do or die shoot out at MK?

At home Grant is ok, but away in a battle no chance. Also Macca is laboured too. What’s up with Tomlinson?

Did anyone see Grant warming up ?.......it was pretty poor ;he hit approx 10 shots at the goal ,only hit the target once .The rest were wildly off target ,his body language gave an impression of 'too casual and not bothered '.
It carried on into the game ,wasted a starting place on him today .

Since when did football consist of "getting what you deserve"? Most promoted sides got points when second best, often with the help of a lucky break. We never get lucky breaks when it counts, we have to put up with that. But somehow we're hanging on to third place and in a position to get promotion with just two good performances and no particular good luck.

Who has defended today’s performance?

We’re third, with two games left. Enjoy it because in football you don’t have many promotion seasons.
