Very sad news. Rest In Peace Kevin.
One of the best players I've ever seen for Mansfield who could hold a ball up and shield it from defenders before laying it off or getting a shot in.
14th May 1977 at Wrexham has always been a special memory for me with Kevin Randall holding the ball up and then crossing for Ernie Moss to score the goal that won us the Division 3 (League 1) Championship. Great times. Great memories.

Very sad news. He was top scorer in the first Stags team I saw play. April 20th 1977 Gillingham (h) 2-2.

Very sad news indeed. One hell of a player. Great at holding the ball up but also a good scoring record too. Another legend that has left us. R. I. P Kevin

So do I. And we beat Lincoln 3-1 two days before. No problem playing twice in three days in those days.
Class player.

Another jigsaw piece of my childhood/youth has left .
Rest in peace Kevin, my goodness the time you were a Stag was the most exciting period in my time as a supporter. What a player you were, if only we could have someone like you today.
Never forgotten Sir.

Kev you are amongst the elite in my eyes. The season you and Big Ern linked up and took us higher than we'd ever been before was the best. Little old Mansfield winning promotion as Champions to the old 2nd Division (what is now the Championship) eh! It'll take something special to top that. Took something special to go to Wrexham and (even though we were up anyway) have the grit and bottle(something that's lacking in today's team) to win the game against all the expectation.
RIP Kev Randall.

Really sad news. One of the rare reasons for Stags and Spireites to be in agreement.
RIP.
