That result pretty much shows that Grant was a mistake. And Ben Turner is a liability, either his eyes have gone or he's desperately unfit but that said, we needed reinforcements and that's been proven by the awful injuries we've had. Great result today and hopefully the replacements will get us over the line though.

What a signing Tomlinson was though, and for Bishop to work like he does, this late in the season, he must be the player of the last three seasons never mind just this one.

Whether Grant was a mistake or not, does rather depend on how long he's been carrying that injury.
Facts do not cease to exist because they are ignored.

It does really, and I can't ever recall him being shockingly bad or why he is singled out as he is....well either him or Conrado usually.
If Jorge has been injured then let's hope he gets fit for the run in.
Danny Rose is another who we need fit. Right now it's bodies that are required and options for the manager.

Big fan of Tomlinson, always plays the killer through ball to CJ. Looked as if he ruined the Exeter defence with his pace today.

I don't think he's been that bad. In the games where he could have been classed as poor, he's still been no worse than anyone else.

This.

Should have started every single game for me.

Had a huge impact on the Cheltenham win at home and same again today.

Jorge is a good player but some players just don't fit into systems especially when shoehorned in, but it should also be noted Jorge wasn't the only player dropped today (even if injured) as so was Mellis.

Playing Macca, Tomlinson and Bishop together adds real steel and protection into the middle of the park and allows Hamilton to go forward freely. I think an attack / midfield which includes Hamilton, grant and Mellis playing together is too soft and a luxury, it may work higher up the leagues but not in league 2.

Reading the Exeter forum it sounds like we where also defending from the front again by getting into their faces and giving them little time to settle something again thats been missing recently. To be fair alot of good comments and giving us credit as the better team.

A fantastic result today and much needed, we just need to build on it now against Cambridge next week.

Personally it’s not about Grant but that we’ve lost some balance in the team trying to cram players into the team. Better individuals but not necessarily creating a better team, just an opinion but it correlates with the January changes

Haha fair enough

I don’t deny in critical of them at times but I never enjoy us not winning.

It’s mad after 20 years that i still feel so euphoric when you’ve won and so down when you lose.
