Not the worst result in the world, but would have liked a defeat for them. The worry is that the late goal will galvanise team spirit.

Lincoln equalise 5.5 minutes into 4 minutes of stoppage time. Incredibly lucky point for Lincoln

The late goal may lift Lincoln but it’s not a win and good result for us nonetheless I reckon. Keeps Exeter at bay, and Lincoln still close enough. 1 win in 6 is it for Lincoln now and away to FGR Saturday. Would love to reign them in.

FT Lincoln 1-1 Exeter. Incredibly lucky point for an abysmal Lincoln. Akinde equalised 5.5 minutes into 4 minutes of stoppage time through poor goalkeeping as Pym was beaten at his near post. Low quality game overall.

as I mentioned above, the commentators noted that Greg Abbott was there. I'm sure if Flitcroft was with him, they would have mentioned it.

Best possible result IMO.

Keeps Lincoln within reach and Exeter away from us, now down to last 12 matches.

Good result really.

Best we could have hoped for

Bury have macc at home, MK home to Crawley and ya at home to Cheltenham, games the 3 would expect to win.

Lincoln at FG though

We’ve put ourselves in a good position and now just have to take care of ourselves, someone will have a wobble like we experienced last season we have to be the ones taking advantage this time.

No doubt Exeter polished the football everytime before taking throw ins, free/goal kicks. No doubt they took time wasting to it's nth degree in the hope of seeing it out, and no doubt the ref thought, 'D'you know what I reckon Exeter are taking the urine somewhat. I reckon another couple of minutes'll mek em sweat a bit more'.

Their keeper got booked late on in the game, I wonder if it was for time wasting?

Good result for us, Lincoln are drawing a lot of games, can Bury sustain their rich vein of form, surely they'll take a dip.

yes, looked like it. But Akinde carried on despite being fouled and hit the post. Still think the ref should have given a pen.

Nailed on pen in any game, Akinde is goal side of the defender and puts his hand on his shoulder to unbalance him. Sending off also as the defender was last man.

Rob and Thommo on BBC Lincs commentary made a point of noting that Exeter didn't time waste, which they noted was unusual.
