I would expect him not to feature tomorrow, firstly because of the loan situation and secondly we won 3-0.

Let's be honest here, having a choice between Grant, Ajose, Walker and Hamilton for out attack is a nice headache to have.

This is not what people want to hear but maybe we are selling CJ? The bidding club may have offered a small percent of a future fee. Just a thought. Using that money to buy Sweeney. Job done. (I really hope this is not the case)

I doubt Ajose will be left out as he won't be coming cheap.

Sweeney is the most likely, but again, that would break up the current unit who are doing so well.

Maybe we are exploring making Sweeney a permanent signing?

Yes, I'd be happy to have Sweeney sign and thus allow Jones to play regularly. Either that or get Smith and Jones to play under aliases and bypass the loan rules?

That could work. The paperwork is in Welsh and by the time it was translated we'd let him play and then sold him to a Patagonian League club.

May be being pessimistic but with the signings made the logical conclusion would be CJ gets sold the money from that makes Ajose or Sweeney permanent and we move from there.

Only alternatives being

1. CJ goes back up front and Ajose sits in the stand (unlikely)
2. Jones sits in the stands (why loan him)
3. Someone is made permanent and CJ or Mal sit in the stand (can't see this)
4. One of Walker or Grant sit in the stand (not gonna happen)

We’ve made these signings to have a strong squad and have options, we would lose that if CJ went. If we have to leave one of our ‘starters’ on the bench then so be it, that’s a sign of strength and what gets teams promoted. Only takes an injury, suspension, change of formation, or lack of form and they’re back in. Got to keep CJ now, pointless getting money at this stage when it’s unlikely we’d get permanent replacement.

The most logical solution to the loan situation is to get Sweeney on a perm, his contract is up in the summer so there may be the opportunity to do so.
