Asked the bloke who first knew about Walker to Stags and he says he has heard nothing re: Grant, and he thinks he would've done if true. He would be very surprised.

He'd better knuckle down then innit.

I know it’s a typical comment from a fan of a higher league club, but a mate says he was very good for them start of last season, and should be one of the best keepers in league 2.

Believe he made a huge save the other season to keep Forest up on the last day. Doubt he’ll be here to sit on the bench.

If he’s as good as he seems to be he should have no trouble dislodging Logan.

I would have thought so, yeah. Logan will move back to being backup.

Smith has been on loan at Barnsley this season, but only played once.

Pretty sure it was an emergency loan. Think I read about the team giving him a standing ovation in the dressing room after the game after he helped them win the game.

Or he shouldn't be dropping to Lge2 level if he's as good as he seems.

Clearly part of our 'special relationship' with Forest, given Walker could easily be playing League one too.

Would you say the same about Sweeney?

I don't dislike him. He's just not good enough, hence why it would appear we are signing a replacement....

No I thought it was because Kean's been nobbled and is out at the weekend and to me Kean has no future with us

What I heard was Kean was just a stop gap
and also the reason he hasn't got a club are his wage demands . Obe is out injured so it's obvious we needed a keeper . I can't imagine Forest would send a player out on loan to sit on the bench so I do agree that he will take Logans place although I think Logan i's more than adequate for this league .

Remember the match thread (Bury?) I was hounded by the Stagsnet wolfs for also suggesting I don’t think he’s good enough and I did say that DF will probably bring in a new #1.

Knows what he’s doing this Flitcroft doesn’t he?

He was on Forest's bench against Chelsea, cant see him swapping their bench for ours.

But that's rather unfair on Logan being as though he's done little wrong in the games since his return. So if the new guy plays and has a stinker and it's in his 'deal' that he's No1 no matter what barring injuries and continues to c ock up then what?

He still needs to earn the right to play. He cant just play 'because he was on the bench against Chelsea'

He'll probably get way more room for errors than Logan, simply because he isn't Logan.

Personally think it's a shame we'd rather have a loan to go with our own player who is good enough for us.

Good luck all the same. Hope he's decent.
