Fact is they are doing better than us. Same as they did last season. Their transition from non league to league football was better than ours. If they do get Eisa they will be promoted. Doesn't mean I like them, but they deserve credit for what they have done.

It's Lincoln. They will do what they always do. Look good until the business end of the season and bottle the play-offs. Having said that it would be good for them to be promoted, nice to have some kind of derby game.

For probably a lot lower fee than what we bought him for. :(

Been told by plymouths media lad, so I guess you could say a very reliable source... that we've enquired about Graham Carey and will bid in January..

I bet it'd be big-ish money but apparently that need any sort of money they can get.

Thought he was the leagues best player when they went up.

Quite hard to pull players up from South West. They tend to stick around clubs down there because of the distance, unless he is from further North.

Seems a strange target - I would have thought a centre-forward, plus some defensive cover for our back 5 would be the priority. Not sure how we would shoe-horn players like Carey/Khan/MacDonald into the current side.
Still, DF knows far more about what he needs than i would!

I wouldn't be surprised if there were a couple of January subtractions. One of: Anderson, Butcher, Atkinson. (Their wages would be an issue, but a loan deal where the other club contributes something could be feasible). And possibly OSJ?

Let's hope that there are no nasty shocks (like losing CJ Hamilton). Although I can't help thinking that if someone made reasonable offer for Danny Rose we might accept it this time (as long as we have a replacement lined up).

Would be amazed if Carey ended up back in league 2, he’s a cracking player

I think he was player of the season when Plymouth went up, would be a great signing but I think we need a striker & defender/wing back more

Well he might get relegated back to league two anyway.... might fancy a promotion push form January onwards. I believe the lad who told me, but I think he would cost a lot and we have similar like khan and Macca already.

As others have said above, don’t really need player in that position. Main priority a striker.

Good player but already got a good enough midfield, imo.

No harm in trying, I’d expect a few to big clubs to be in but they were for Khan and we got him by being genuine.

We might be pioneering a 3 6 1 formation.

I’m not saying I don’t believe you! Just think it would be a shock him dropping down but no harm in trying if Plymouth have made it known they need money. Him, Mellis and Bishop in midfield would be ridiculous!

As long as we don't show him a picture of the Bishop Street stand we will be ok

It would take McGugan until March to get fit.

We don't need another centre mid when we have Bishop, Mellis, Elsnik , Macca, Butcher and Atkinson who can play there

plus if mcgugan sneezes he'd be injured

I really think DF plays a big part in who we sign ,when i hear his interviews he really is buying into stags ,so when hes trying to sign them that belief will help us ,the more i hear from him ,the more certain i am that hes gonna bring us succes ,and with style
