Has he been studying Dougal from Father Ted and copying his facial expressions?

The best part of this is that they won’t sack him in the close season and will be well out of the running when he finally goes in October/November.

The decision to change managers at this time of season is insane. We had to with Evans but to do it like they have when they were doing well is madness.

And funny. And excellent

Looks like lessons aren't being learned here.

You would have thought that after what happened last time they sacked a manager who didn't quite deliver immediately they got themselves relegated. This is similar to what happened when Evans left us. Form drops off.

We also tried it a couple years back and almost replicated the feat, with how this season started it was a strong possibility we could have. There's a lesson in patience here. If your manager has a plan and a philosophy that aligns well then give them time to build something.

We've got ourselves a situation now where we potentially have players signed by the last manager hampering the current one for next season. Until every 1st team player has signed a contract under the current gaffer at some point then he cannot be reliably judged. We made the error before and county want to make the error repeatedly.

Ben Turner being picked to play against Notts was the start of our downfall. Clearly unfit and nowhere near what was required it was the first in a series of terrible decisions at the end of that season culminating in MacDonald playing at right back.

So if Brentford’s third place finish last season and this is down to stat based football then so must their three mid table finishes in the season’s before yeah. And let’s not forget the only reason Barnsley are in the Championship is due to Wigan’s points deduction. So a great result for stat football that was eh!

Who has the most persuasive argument?

Brentford’s Oxford educated physics graduate owner who has turned over over £120m in profit whilst seeing his club go from League 1 regulars to championship promotion contenders
