Spot on Martin, it was one of those rare pre-season friendlies where most of the crowd stayed to the end to clap the players off. We finally look a team, we look like we have a plan, we look well drilled and in Bishop we have a gem, I hope he stays fit, no wonder Scunny were up there in League 1 last season, he is clearly a cut above a League 2 midfielder.
Well done to David Flitcroft, well done for creating a team that is good to watch, it is early days but I think this side will be the best to watch since 2004.

Just a question Martin, you mention that it was Utd's first public friendly of the season and 'they were a bit rusty'. They went to Portugal and beat Martimo 1-0 I think, they've since played Stocksbridge Park and Bradford City (won 2-3). Were these games behind closed doors?
