I'm not sure it's as easy as that. I remember us losing to Braintree which was one of the last games in our promotion season.

I think there will be a few twists and turns before the end of the season.

Wrexham have a game in hand so even if they lose they are still technically on equal points.

The goal difference is tight as well. Whoever doesn't win the league, it's going to seem criminal if they fail in the playoffs.

I think I’ll watch the Wrectum v County game. I don’t want County up but at least they’re an English team in the English league and I would love to see Wrectum fall flat on their faces.

Wrexham and a southern club for me please.
Happy for County to come back up at some point, but not in 1 season less than us as we would never hear the last of it.
Cheaterfield can stay down there forever.

What is making me laugh at the moment is County fans moaning about how much money Wrexham are spending. They go quiet as soon as you mention Munto. At least the money Wrexham are spending actually exists !!

Happy for Wrexham to go up, it's a proper ground to go to and close for me. That would also mean that both County and Spireites both cant go up as well, and any of the other 6 winning the play-offs to keep them both down would be perfect.

County and Wrexham for me…getting 100 points is incredible and they’re definitely the best ever non league teams and including the best two strikers!

Hopefully. I’d rather have two County threads than a Spireite one

Wrexham 100 plus points. Notts 100 plus points. There is something seriously wrong with the set up if one of these teams doesnt get promoted

Disagree.
There's something seriously wrong with the disparity in money being chucked around.

It's quite possible that the team who finishes second could suffer burnout in the neck and neck race to finish top. That could see one of the other playoff teams triumph.

I think it shows exactly what an unbalanced league they are in. For two teams to be so far in front of everyone else, it shows that the division is sadly lacking in quality in depth with little hope for the also rans to progress. The situation doesn’t lend itself to entertaining games between evenly matched teams.

Exactly this, teams running away with leagues isn't necessarily the sign of great teams but maybe poor leagues. The Scottish Prem is the same, the top 2 clubs of 12 are the only ones with a positive goal difference, and the leaders have almost double the points of the 3rd placed team.

Hardly surprising when they’ve got 15 men every game!

If my drunken calculations from a few months ago are correct, as of this weekend they will have officially been in the Conference for longer than us.

I CBA to recalculate, that's for the fact checkers to do

I think it’s 5 seasons each at the end of this year so if they fail to get promoted then they will have been in that league for longer.

Correct. Next season will be their 6th.

Notts have done 4 I think, so next season if they fail to go up, would equal ours too.
