I'd agree with that.

A few years ago,if you said the likes of Adkins, Robinson and Cowley would be managing teams in this division in the bottom half of the table, you'd be thinking it was madness.

They'll all improve, the teams coming down will be competitive and tend to yo-yo all the time, and whoever fails in the playoffs will be up there with the favourites to win the league next season.

I think it's the best it's been since we've been in it.

I agree. We need to at least change the title as from next season they are not non-league. It was good while it lasted though. :D

Perhaps we can insert the word ‘standard’ between non-league and Chesterfield :D

Unfortunately you are still non league until the season’s end. The remainder of your fixtures this year will be played in non league so the description is still valid.

If someone printed this thread as a book, I’d buy the chuffing thing. It’s been one disaster after an another for our sheep-bothering neighbours.

Here’s to 8 more years.

I think it's safe to say the Spireite players have been on the lash for the last week.

I'm here :D , win or lose.
We were poor today. Kiddie wanted and needed it more.
Very good crowd attendance again, 8300.
What happened with your pitch today, it only drizzled this morning? You'll get a reputation as having a pub league standard pitch like Halifax. Or have you got some injuries and someone accidentally turned the hose pipe on?
(Ps, having trouble posting, apologies if you see this 3 times).

I thought the same but lots will be on holiday like the players!

What happened with your pitch today I live near the ground and we’ve had hardly any rain. Anything to do with your injury list?

The referee deemed it unplayable. Disappointing but that's football.

Barely see a Spireite on here in 6 years and as soon as they’ve got promoted, and not one minute before that, the place is snided with them. :D

It's not actual attendance. Arn't season ticket holders counted whether they attend or not ?

Been on here a while Marky Mark, gave you all a warning about Alfie Kilgour failing a fitness test with us before you signed him.

And then went from January 2023 till just after you secured promotion to make another post. I think that pretty much validates Marky's comment.
