They should of asked for help with the pitch, I'd of happily pissed on it, again.

Regards the attendance I have to agree it was great support from Aldershot.

There's a rumour going around that Quigley has been signed as a replacement for Rowe, as he has some sort of health scare and may have to retire?

Don't wish that for any player, but hopefully this Quigley is a flop. Their fans don't seem impressed anyway.

Regardless of rivalries this is horrible to hear, I hope the young man is healthy and well however that may or may not affect Chesterfield.

I hope he regains full health, the day after his contract expires.

As much as I like to have a dig at those over the side of the M1, I do have sympathy for the player. I hope it isn't a serious health problem.

Danny Rowe must be costing the Spireites a fortune.

It could be a depression/mental health issue like Billy Kee.

I didn't know that he started off at Preston and then signed for Manchester United as a 11 year old. It seems like he struggled there and lost his passion for the game. Found this in an article on him:

“I was going to United four times a week.We lived in Blackpool and my mum and dad would be driving me there and to begin with it was great. But slowly I just got tired of it, lost my focus, just sort of gave up. I don’t really know how or why but I just wasn’t enjoying it and it showed. In the end United let me go as a 16-year-old and I don’t blame them. When it happened there were no regrets, there was no pressure from my parents. They knew, just like United, that my heart just wasn’t in it. At the age of ten or eleven I’d score 100 goals in a season and set all kinds of records but, at United, in the end I just didn’t want to do it any more.”

He then started playing again for a local team called Blackpool Wren Rovers.

Good luck to him and his family. He's one of the best strikers of a ball in the lower leagues. Scored a fantastic free kick for Oldham at Exeter last season.

For a club that has committed fraud on Covid payments, stolen Covid vaccinations before vulnerable people & rigged raffle draws i'm eager as to see what they find as misconduct.
