I would just like to put on record my thanks to mad dog, i didn’t think it possible for me to like a Cheaterfield manager anymore than the last ding bat, however you have done even more than the last one to go down in the hall of fame

thanks again

Why? They will have to pay him off, can’t afford the players they have and won’t be able to pay a decent new manager ( even if anyone decent wanted to go there). Academy manager placed in charge, Ashley Carson resigned too. More of a soap opera than Mardy Lane.

Just to let you all know that I've been sacked.

This football club is a shambles.

All the best

I see BetVictor have Paul Cox as 5/2 favourite to be next manager of the Shite-rites

Carson hasn't gone. He's still in a role at the club and will still attend board meetings as well as keep his stake. In the club. Just a PR stunt.

Cox will not do well there. Remember he had JR ax his boss here not that shower from Sheffield that the Spireites have. We are lucky!!!

Would be the best they could hope for and probably a good appointment for them. How he would fair with no money I'm not sure but he knows how to win games in that league.

Terrible news. He was doing a brilliant job. There is just no loyalty in football these days.

- Play stopped at 0-3 to Solihull Moors as as many as two dozen invade the pitch. Stewards restore order.
- Play resumes. 0-4

I'd feel sorry for them, but they have stood by completely passive while their club has died.

I was there when we marched from the old Civic Centre. I personally know people who went to Calver to inform the Dark Lord's neighbours about his antics.

Spireites? Well they loved their local Derbies against Sheffield United and Dave Allen's money, now they're looking to ground share at Staveley Miners Welfare.

A bit of a sing song before Basford at home won't change it now. It's rotten from the top down.... and they did nothing to stop it.

Merry Christmas Spireites

I liked the comment that when the pitch invasion started it was the first time they'd had any pace in midfield all season.
Some of the crowd wanted the players to come off permanently and replaced by 11 of the pitch invaders. :D

Spot on with the loyalty, only lost 3 of the last 17 games.

They must be struggling financially with all the ex-manager payoffs. Perhaps it's time to extend the olive branch and offer them the chance to ground share with us at Field Mill.

Obviously they'd have to fit their semi-pro matches around our schedule, but surely it could be done? We could also do special offers, such as attend ten Spireite games and get half-price admission to one of ours.

They could use our 4G pitch, its nearer for them and of course its allowed at their level.

Oh how they used to mock us, how sweet this is.

I wish I could get my thoughts on that idea through the swear filter.

Do us a favour Coxy, take them down.
