Quite incredible what the club have achieved really, just shows what having one the most ambitious, forward thinking young Managers in football does for you.

So glad we didn’t go for an exposed, waning dinosaur

I’m sure Nigel will be fine for you but he’s been in the game for years and he’s at Mansfield……tells its own story I guess.

Is this guy on something?

Who is this amazing forward thinking manager nobody has ever heard of?

Don’t feed him. He’s clearly chatting raspberrys so why tolerate his comment? They’re non league tinpot trash and we will never play them again :)

I love tuning in to a bit of comedy. Do you honestly think that Clough didn't get offers from clubs higher up? He admitted he took a time out. We came knocking on his door at the right time. Look at the teams he has managed, all in the local area so it suits him but then again with him saying that our ambition, training facilities, support and the owners were a huge selling point helped his decision.
You lot getting exciting over signing a player from Boreham wood is laughable.
Do you honestly think he would of joined you if he is rated that highly? He would of jumped at the chance of playing league football. They obviously seem you coming. League teams maybe took a look at him but there is a huge difference in taking a look and being interested.
Their owner more or less said a lot of interest was false.

Ai have a very good friend from Newbold who is a huge Dippers fan. He like other sheepies wasnt too happy how you used the furlough system. He is worried about the future of your so called club and although he said that the season ended well compared to where you were at the begining of the season he, like others, know that finishing 6th in a league that there were basically 10 or 12 teams interested was nothing to write home about.
I remember him telling me that on bob's board, some of your lot were slagging the team off right to the end saying how mediocre you were.

The question you’d have to ask is there anything about the Spireites, from the squad, to the league position, to the training facilities, to the management staff that you’d swap ?

I can’t think of a single player, coach or facility.

Tinpot.

The manager's "forward thinking" didn't work out too well when he considered whether to have a back up goalkeeper on the bench in a playoff knock-out game.....

You're spot on - if this forward was so good why isn't he in the league?

If he was that good he would be in the championship or league 1, but instead joined a mediocre non-league outfit. That doesn't add up.

The Crooked Spireites may have a nice little ground and they have to have something to try and sound superior about.

One of their fans who I know used to say to me, "You don't count, you're Non-League" so now I say whenever I see him around, "Suck it up, dude, you're Non-League"

It's a cruel world when you have to claim your Boreham Wood player is the final piece in the jigsaw of your future.

He's moved on three very capable goalkeepers ( one of which is doing well in the Championship ).

Maybe goalkeepers are the million dollar manager's Achilles heel.

Didn't we sell our 5th choice striker to stevenage, and he's played in both their games so far? He was also highly "sought after" as well.

Also loaned our 3rd or 4th choice CB to Walsall.

The saddest part for you and your club is that you all honestly believe that drivel to be true.

A glimmer of optimism will Soon turn into the realisation that your down there in the pit of misery for another year.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_League_System

They are in the national league system. So the bottom 3 would be Basford United and worksop Town sort of level.

Waiting with bated breath for your Mickley mouse club to pay back the furlough money if your insurance has covered your losses.

Maybe the payout will be losses incurred less furlough received

Either way it’s a massive payout

I would imagine it’s a long way short of the FL funding and TV income we’ll receive this season, but that’s because..........

WE’RE NOT NON LEAGUE
