The point I'm making is the standard is the same. That is because they have not REPLACED league 1 or league 2 sides with under 23 sides. They are an additional, probably to even the numbers out, rather than having bys in the 1st round.

The point is the cup is a joke and a fraud.

No, if fans are naive and daft enough to advocate the demise of our system then that's great. Good for them.

They'll be the type that reckon that VAT will reduce back down to 17.5% as the government told them it will and get easily led and confused.

They'll be the type that said "oh it wasn't my fault, I didn't know what was going on when I naively went along for it and had no clue as I believed what they told me. I believed that if I left my wallet on the side that that nasty, nasty man wouldn't take it"

As said, they're cute. That world doesn't exist. It is the aim that b sides will be here within a few years.

I wish I were that simple

When Greeny and especially Rheady retire, which part of their careers would they look back on most fondly?

Rheady has played Arsenal at the Emirates - having progressed to the 5th round of the FA cup knocking out higher opposition, featured live on the BBC, gained another promotion as champions and will now play at Wembley - with potentially another trophy.

Boing Boing has certainly had a whirlwind career considering he turned pro aged 28(?)

If Cox hadn't given the big lad a chance at Stags he'd still be playing Evostick and workin at JCB. He will be forever grateful to our club for the chance he was given.
Great lad, wis him every success.

Thats a good point. Well done to Rheady for making the most of the chance.

Here is a very good end of season review for Lincoln City by the BBC Lincs commentaters and Steve Thompson. There is lots of praise for Matt Green and Matt Rhead. Steve Thompson says Matt Green was a candidate for Player of the Season. Worked his socks off and often had to play out wide in a 4-3-3. Ollie Palmer had 42 sub appearances and so is correctly described as an "impact player".

Matt Green is first discussed after 33 mins. They discuss the strikers after 44m.

According to a few Lincoln fans Cowley is trying to change it about a bit, try and get rid of that certain ‘direct’ style of play, he’s attempted it a few times in the season just gone and it didn’t go well.

It’s all about if he can manage it, it’s the correct idea though because if they stay the same sooner than later they will get sussed out.

Possibly, but we were worked out in October, they've managed a full season and still done alright. They've obviously got more to them than Cox and Murray did

The style of play is probably why no club from a higher league has come in for the Cowleys.

It works ok at our level and in cup games against opposition who are not used to dealing with it, but a full season higher up just wouldn't wash.

The Cowleys have to show another way before anyone will chance them.

Can they not just announce a signing without ..
1. Saying they have been after them for years
2. Having a sly dig at other failed transfer targets.

Horrible Club.
These are my opinions , if you don't like them I have others...
