As ever it all depends on team and Tactics,,,we are at home so lets go for it... Oates, Johnson, Gale up front ..middle Clarke, Maris, Quinn, KD.. at the back Hewitt , Kilgour , (Wallace ,Perch or Bowery) they're all as bad......but that won't happen will it?...with the above team 3-0 with the normal negative line up 1-0 or 1-1

What kind of a team is that  So you want Gale and Johnson starting up front instead of Akins, you want Clarke and Quinn as wing backs and you want either Wallace or Bowery at one of the three centre backs?

Correct. We don’t win today then we don’t deserve it.

The result is not all important to me, I would like a win as would everyone but it is the manner in which we play.

We play in the most uninteresting, drab, two touches and whack it forward football that there is to offer. Passing the ball, retaining possession, movement, beating their full back and keeping possession is becoming a very distant memory. The ball most go home with a headache for all the time it hammered into the air and the players knackered through chasing lost causes.

Clubs espouses projects and philosophies and how they play football but we seem to be losing the way in how we can play and how we do. Injuries are no longer an excuse as the coaching staff have had nearly a full season to adapt. So get it on the floor and play football or expect the derision this rammel deserves.

COYS

And it’s a two win from me, based on hope rather than experience.

Could it be because our creative midfielders are out with injuries ?

Well the sitter has just cancelled so looks like I'm staying home for this one.

Youngest still poorly so I might disappear from commentary randomly.

I'm the opposite, couldn't care how we play now as long as we can grind out the results required for play offs.

Agreed with Bobby. It's the result that matters. At this stage we need points. So do those around us. We could have one shot on target all game and that could be the winner.

Don't get me wrong winning well with lots of shots and goals for us is better but 3 points is all that matters.

If we didn't have anything to play for then I would prioritise the performance but you're bang on

It's not a coincidence that our best season in 20 years saw us also play our most entertaining football in 20 years. The two normally come hand in hand.

They do. But a sign of a good side is one that wins when they don't play well.

I'd prefer 3-0 with 20 shots on goal, 10 on target and some fine saves from their keeper, with 0 shots for the opposition.

But, at this stage of the season, I'd also take 1-0 with 1 shot that was going wide but deflects off a defenders rear end and goes in

Despite having the games in hand, no win today, no play offs IMO.

Creepy have had a good little run, but they've lost half their games this season & are 3rd bottom.

If you can't beat a side like that at home at the business end of the season, you aren't promotion material.
Facts do not cease to exist because they are ignored.
