WELCH SIGNS TILL END OF SEASON

mansfieldtown.net reports that keeper Keith Welch has signed until the end of the season at Field Mill. Keith Curle's hand was forced, following news that Huddersfield Town were showing an interest in the Welch, who filled in at short notice for the injured Kevin Pilkington.
"The last thing you need to hear is that you have to look for another goalkeeper 3 days before a game especially one against a club like QPR" Said Curle this morning. mansfieldtown.net reports that Curle has had talks with Stags Chairman Keith Haslam, who has agreed to make the funds available for another signing which could come as early as this afternoon.
