Haslam in Stags threat
By Chris Stanton - Created on 11 Jan 2007

Mansfield's under-fire owner Keith Haslam has threatened to pull the plug on the League Two club.

Stags supporters have urged Haslam to sell up and quit the club, but the owner insists he has not received any offers for The Stags.

And Haslam hinted that he could walk away of his own accord.

"I have said before that I am willing to sell, but if there are no bids on the table and if no one's come forward, there are only two options," said Haslam.

"I can either continue as the club's owner or the only other thing that can be done if I walk away is to close the club down.

"Whether that happens depends on various things, but it is a possibility."
