Must be true then !!!
I was at the club earlier today and an employee told me the chairman and ceo were at the ground yesterday meeting a player. She didn't know who it was or the significance of the meeting, merely the fact the meeting had taken place.
This was an employee from the non footballing staff who doesn't take an interest in the team so had no more information.
2 +2 = 5
Doubt any potential signing would step foot in the ground unless there to sign his contract , any meetings would be conducted away from the wonk ..

Any ideas why not us? Was he offered a deal here? Is he from down South?
I do feel the club should do more to communicate about the youth players, who have been offered deals/released etc.

Not necessarily true. Radfords met Matt Preston at ground before the ‘evening with Radfords’, then he signed a week later.

signed a lot of league two players, for a team going for the championship he's done the complete opposite of what he tried to do here with the league above players. Difference he signed league 1 squad players on their way down.
