Won't be the end of the world if we lose because we need to win our home games and keep our goals difference the same by the end of the season.

Really hope DKD isn’t on the bench again. He’s our best player and biggest goal threat. Shouldn't be dropping him. We’ve also lost our last two games that he’s not started in (Walsall and Tranmere).

He also played for Wrexham too.

Apparently the ref is the same ref we had earlier in season at Doncaster (2-2 draw).

Since the turn of the year he has been promoted to Championship level and also done a couple of Premier League games as well as doing 3 games in last couple of weeks in Japan.

Looks like a fast track ref that was recently been doing conference games.

I had a look on their forum and saw this post

I've seen Mansfield a few times and they have never impressed me so I'm a little surprised to see them where they are. The one player who has always stood out though is Keillor Dunn, keep him quiet and feeling pretty confident.

Obviously, they must've missed the fact we've scored 30+ goals in the last 10 games. But always find it funny when fans comment "oh, I saw them in that one particular game and they shouldn't be top"

Its just nonsense bravado.

They obviously weren't at the game when we played you in the league earlier in the season.
We got mauled in the first half and probably should've been 2 or 3 nil down. Second half was far more even mind. Still, every fan around me was saying the same thing and that was "this is the best team we have faced so far by some distance"

If Palmer starts, we usually win. I know there is no love lost between Stags fans and Palmer but he's been tremendous for us. So I hope Palmer starts then we bring on Fletcher who is a real handful for tired defenders who've been wrestling with Palmer for 70 minutes.

No idea what the score will be, could easily go either way. Just hope the ref is good and isn't a total n0b

Hope Cargill is fit, but if he wasn’t I would go with the below;

Pym

Williams
Flint
Brunt
Bowery

Clarke
Reed
Quinn

DKD

Swan
Akins

First goal is going to be crucial.

I think NC will pick:

Pym

Williams
Flint
Brunt
Bowery

Reed
Clarke
Lewis

Maris

Akins
Swan

Personally, I would start DKD every game, also think he will only play Quinn in 1 of the bank hol games.

I think we need Macca and Quinn to start, apparently Williams is still not fit.

Lewis is a nonstarter in my opinion.

Last 6 away games;

- Wimbledon, DKD left out, LOST
- FGR, DKD starts, WON
- Walsall, DKD left out, LOST
- Newport, DKD starts, WON
- Tranmere, DKD left out, LOST
- Bradford, DKD starts, WON

Definitely a pattern there

Away from home, Correct. I believe that was the only other away game that he was out of the starting 11 for all season.

DKD is the 4th highest goalscorer away from home in the league, with 9 of his 19 goals being away.

Only Matt Smith (14), Langstaff (11), and Cook (12 away, only 3 at home), have more away goals.

interesting, as clough called him out for not being attacking enough away from home.

If anyone gets any very late drop outs on tickets let me know, I’m only 40 odd minutes from Wrexham and can meet at the ground

Wrexham Accounts for the year ended 30th June 2023

Turnover almost doubled year-on-year from £6 million to a National League record of £10.5m with a quarter of that coming from outside the United Kingdom.

This turnover figure exceeds the income generated by all 24 teams in League Two last season and most clubs in the third tier. Wrexham's top revenue stream came from their retail operation, which grew from £1.3m to £3.4m.

Advertising and sponsorship income increased from £1.1m to £1.8m.

Wrexham's run to the fourth round of the FA Cup more than doubled its on-pitch revenue from £530k to £1.3m.

Losses increased from £2.9m to £5.1m. The total losses since the takeover stand at £10m.

The club's payroll increased from £4.1m to £6.9m.

Over £1m went towards signing players to take the total cost of the squad to a fifth tier record of £2.2m.

The club spent £3.5 million on its infrastructure as work continues to redevelop the Racecourse Ground taking the total over the last two years to £8m.

Loans from the owners rose from £4.1m to £6.9m.

The club stated: "The financial losses suffered by the club since the takeover shouldn’t be repeated with income generated by the club now sufficient to meet the operational costs of the club going forward. These losses were deemed necessary to allow the Club to maximise its full potential in the shortest time practically possible. The Club is under no immediate pressure to repay these loans at the expense of the progress we seek to achieve, and further financial support will be provided/secured to support the capital expenditure projects the club is currently planning, which includes increasing the capacity of The Racecourse Ground and the development of a training facility for all the Club’s teams.

"The year-on-year income comparisons since the takeover, show the potential of the Club. These will significantly increase again for the year ending June 30, 2024, following promotion and the continued popularity of Welcome to Wrexham ."

If Cargill is fit and Maris is available, I'd go for....
Pym
Bowery
Flint
Brunt
Cargill
Reed
Maris
Clarke
Quinn
DKD
Akins

Stifle the middle of the park and have the midfielders running at the unoccupied CB.
