The marquee is finally up at Field Mill on the old training pitch. It looks a really good size. Hopefully this will be up and running with bars and toilets etc for our next home game! This has been needed for years.

Well done the Club, great step forward, somewhere to go rather than just filing into the ground

Impressive . It wasn’t that long ago we were envious of Lincoln’s fan zone , now ours had surpassed it .

It’s probably just little things i suppose, like the male toilets by the pate - just 2 urinals when actually if there was a tray there you’d be able to get 4 at the same time.
Sounds ridiculous i appreciate but little things like that at halftime etc can make a difference.
It’s excellent news there’s a fanzone going up if they bring more money into the club happy days.

They used to have something like this at Yeovil. That was pretty good.

Not a fan zone, it's the hangar for JR's Zeppelin

Notts County have announced a similar fan zone area in a disused hanger building next to Mardy Lane

This will be great in the warmer months. And through winter if it's heated.
Looks brilliant. Just need to see it all kitted out. Anyone know if it's getting draped in yellow and blue flags etc?
You've got to go there and come back, to know where you've been.

Doesn't look level to my untrained eye. Quite an incline but will be fun I suppose. Hope we get Brian Blessed for the official opening.

Looks a bit plain to me? Doesn't solve the problem of long bar queues in Sandy's and are they expecting people to just sit on the floor??

If it's kitted out like the Yeovil one, it will have a long bar & tables & chairs & Sky TV.

I've looked at that pic for ages and can't see any writing on it at all.

The one at Plymouth used to charge you something like £5.00 to get in, but that got you a pasty and a pint... (only a couple of years ago)

begs the question, how the away fans get from the fanzone to the north stand

Well there's the Catch 22 ultimate dilemma....if we are adult enough to be permitted to mix and mingle like adults and human beings in a covered area why can't we be trusted to use the gate in the same way. If it's because of the risk of trouble then surely away fans can't be allowed to access the Fanzone without express SAG permission.....can't have it both ways surely.....?
