Could he not register as a player to get round it? :D

What would happen if he was a player/manager in this instance?

I assume it'd count as a ban from playing in the same way that Quinn's does?

Was Andy Garner also on a Touchline ban today?

If he was then surely Paul Brown was too, and given his funeral business was sponsoring the match, was he banned from the pre match ritual on the pitch.

Bowery and Quinn did the pre match warm up.

It was good to see Bowery and Quinn involved. It shows the togetherness of the squad.

I presume Garner sat with Clough so they could more effectively direct the players together.

Or Nigel didn't trust him to not start a punch up on his own.

Garner was sat on the Bishop Street side of the pitch, where Clough watched from the other week.

Fair enough Martin, I stand corrected.
There were 2 people on the halfway line on the Bishop Street side, and everyone around us thought one of them was Garner as he had the same hairstyle.

Maybe should use the games to go and watch the opposition for the following two games. That way he would at least get something positive out of it.

Won't he just watch from the stands as he did on Saturday? Gary Crosby will already be watching the opposition.

Possibly but I just thought if he was on the touch line for the following 2 matches, he may as well watch first hand. If he can’t have contact during the two matches he has to miss, he won’t be contributing much anyway unless he’s allowed to talk to Clough which I’m not sure about.
