Just had a look at the home Grimsby ticket allocation still left and we have exactly 20 tickets for sale, all singular and all in the QLE. J Block upper allocation all sold so why are they not advertising A and H blocks in the lower so people who want to sit together can do so. Thought someone would have seen this and put them on sale?

Down to seven tickets left now, I would imagine the 'A' and 'H' blocks will be put online tomorrow don't see any reason why they wouldn't want a sellout.

1 ticket showing for sale in QLE, so is that it then pretty much sold out or are the club holding some back for some bizarre reason? Get em sold ASAP if there are some available for A and H blocks.

A and H blocks now on sale so if you know anyone who is still wanting tickets I would suggest they get them today.

There doesn't seem to be a credible process on this and I think the club is losing more money. I was away and hadn't got my MK Dons ticket. I tried on Friday online and there was nothing available in nearly all blocks. I went into town to the club and mentioned this at the ticket office. She then said hold on I am just releasing Block A. ( Friday PM) Far too late for many that would have tried to get seats together and then just not bothered.

Agree with this, all seams very slapdash

Agreed, but at least with the tickets released today for A and H we should sell out well before the day. As you say why can't we do this every match?

Surely when they decide to go all ticket they should just release all seats. Is that not the point of going all ticket.

I agree 100% could someone explain why tickets are held back and not sold on a first come basis, like away tickets

Assume it’ll be down to try to reduce potential risk trouble/costs, though for me i agree it should be all open rather than the farcical approach they have now.

They don't know how many tickets are needed for the flag bearers etc. in block H, and how many youth players family and friends are needed in block A until nearer to the date of the match.
Those accustomed to privilege may feel that equality is oppression.

This ticket selling strategy is 'as Mansfield' as dodging dog crap.

as Pete says, most of this is for academy players and family/friends. Once they know how many are taken up, they can release the rest of the tickets.

Wouldn't be hard surely to tell the academy/ family etc they must register for tickets a week before?
To release block A ( and I assume H ) at 3 o'clock on a Friday afternoon of an all ticket game just makes no sense at all. The club continually throws money away.

That would be a far to logical approach ;)

The club put another 100 tickets on sale last night in Blocks A and H IGL, last few I believe so if you know anyone interested in going but hasn't got a ticket I would recommend they get one today, not last long.

The ticketing experience is so Mansfield Town. Take something dead simple, layer it with 4 layers of difficulty, and lose money hand over fist. Bit like the club shop, really!

How are they losing money if it’s sold out?

Because big Al said they are, so they must be losing thousands.

Happened to Factory Records when Blue Monday sold millions.

That was more to do with frivolous spending and not owning any music rights though.
