FGR at home now Tues 16th Jan

Apologies if I've missed it but has this not been rearranged yet?
If it hasn't it seems very unusual that it is taking so long.

It has not been rearranged yet. Had FGR been knocked out of the FAC it would have been played today.

Seeing as they're not playing today would it be too late to arrange a fixture

Would be a good opportunity to quickly arrange this for this afternoon, so it can equally quickly get called off and hey presto! An opening door to blame Mez for not looking after the pitch!

I don't think Mez bothered with the covers at all.
By the time next Saturday arrives we will be looking at rain, rain and more rain, so it'll have thawed out.

They’ve got an FA Cup match to get in as well unless they get thrown out.

A Professional Game Board Sub-Committee has ordered the Emirates FA Cup First Round Proper tie between Forest Green Rovers and Scarborough Athletic to be replayed on Tuesday 12 December at 19:45.

The FA charged Forest Green Rovers for fielding an ineligible player in the Emirates FA Cup First Round Proper tie against Scarborough Athletic, which constitutes a breach of FA Cup Rule 109, and Forest Green Rovers subsequently admitted this charge.

Forest Green Rovers will now play away to Scarborough Athletic in a one-off match on Tuesday 12 December, and the winner will travel away to Blackpool for a Second Round Proper match on Tuesday 19 December.

it seems odd to me that FGR are ordered to replay, whereas Barnsley were thrown out. Both fielded an ineligible player.

Has Vince.some friends in high places?
Barnsley ejaculated and FGR given a second bite of the cherry they will win.
Something fishy here and if I was a Barnsley fan I'd be fuming

I'm sure these faceless invisible administrators won't lower themselves to give us peasants an explanation as to why FGR have been treated differently to Barnsley......it drives me mad that there's no accountability for these individuals making decisions without any comeback.

I hope Barnsley don't let it rest but what would they gain, they won't be reinstated now so it's money they can probably ill afford to waste on a lost cause.

No wonder Barnsley got kicked out if this is what they did.

Technically looks like different rule breaches have saved FGR
