A 1-0 win via a soft own goal will do for me. Tranmere will be buzzing after yesterday's win.Sandy Pate Best Stag wrote:HitchcocksShins wrote:Alternative Sponsor: the vomiting stag and his great grammar
More like his Great Grandma
A determined and professional performance to put the defeat firmly behind the team 4-1.

It simply must not happen again that we capitulate so and become a team resembling last season's chokers.

This should be good enough to take the three points.

I don’t think there are enough goals in that team to be sure of a win and we would need Oates or A.N.Other to play alongside/off Akins. I think DKD is a must which would mean no place for one of the four midfielders and that could be any of them really. Personally I would leave Quinn out of the starting 11 and bring him on around the 60 minute mark. I agree with the defensive lineup. I would also give Abdullah a place on the bench to freshen things up if we need a goal late on as he brings something a little different.

Not enough goals? 28 of our 32 goals scored are from players in that line up.
I don't agree going 4-4-1-1 is an answer. It's a bit knee jerk after losing our first game.
DkD and Akins are on 17 goals combined. It's not even December yet.
