Bored so had a look. Note the positions are the position in that league after we had played 15 games. Also this is 4th tier only.
I am well aware it doesn't gauge a thing but I was intrigued so some others may find it intriguing. (I'm writing this after writing the below but it is quite similar to our current season)
Our current positioning
4th Mansfield Town P15 W7 D8 L0 F27 A12 GD+15 Pts29
01/02 - finished 3rd
4th Mansfield Town P15 W8 D4 L3 F24 A17 GD+7 Pts28
91/92 - finished 3rd
2nd Mansfield Town P15 W10 D3 L2 F31 A13 GD+18 Pts33
85/86 - finished 3rd
1st Mansfield Town P15 W9 D3 L3 F28 A12 GD+16 Pts30
74/75 - finished 4th division champions
1st Mansfield Town P15 W10 D4 L1 F28 A13 GD+15 Pts24 (2 points for a win - 34 points in modern game, still top of the league though)
62/63 - finished 4th - promoted on goal average. (Goal average is the number of goals scored divided by the number of goals conceded and was replaced by goal difference in 75/76 season)
2nd Mansfield Town P15 W9 D4 L2 F32 A15 GD+17 Pts22 (32 in modern game)
I can generate a league table all the way back to 1888/1889 season but it won't let me show the conference tables. So I'll list other promotions but won't have a position for the conference season.
12/13 - Conference champions
13th Mansfield Town P15 W6 D3 L6 F22 A27 GD-5 PTs21
76/77 - Division 3 Champions
3rd Mansfield Town P15 W8 D3 L4 F27 A12 GD+15 Pts19 (27 points in today's money)
Look at how similar
