Good harassing defending from Bowery, wins a throw in.

How can you not tell the difference between Cargill & Bowery?

Well done boys but why are we risking players in a nothing match with Notts on Saturday...

George Williams looked very good tonight.

A really dreadful performance all round from the team, cameraman and especially Jake Garner, who is not a commentator. Only Williams, Johnson and maybe MacDonald did well, the rest were average to garbage.
Donny should have won about 12-7.

Agree, thought Williams, Johnson and Macdonald were the better performers from a very average performance. Abdullah caused them problems first half as well.

Fingers crossed there’s no knocks - on to the big one.

disappointed with Swan, and thought Lewis was poor when he came on…. on the plus side Williams had a good game and Cooper and Abdullah showed some promise

I think we got lucky there but shouldn’t put too much emphasis on the game as that team would never start a league game even if we were down to the bare bones.

An entertaining game to watch as a neutral but one better forgotten by a fan. Hopefully their player recovers from his injury and it doesn’t set him too far back in what appeared to be a promising career.

Big clap to Abdullah and Gale who I thought did exceptionally well in the circumstances especially in the first half. Swan also had some good moments including picking out Gale for his second goal. He’s putting the effort in and the goals will come.

It will be a far different display on Saturday and I’m sure the team won’t let us down.

Scrappy and disjointed but it's to be expected with 8 changes.

Abdullah looked useful and worked his nuts off.

Gale looks world beating one second but in the same move looks like a Sunday league player, again to be expected, he's raw but occasionally very, very explosive.

Swan has missed 3 golden chances but kept going.

I probably shouldn't care but I hate some of the comments about how poor we were, we could and possibly should have been 4 up before they got started and they only looked good when they brought on the likes of Close, Molyneux and others.

Their young kid Mosal(??) looked very good indeed.

A useful run out for the fringe players and 20-30 minutes to keep a few of the others ticking over.

Absolutely delighted to nick a game we could have lost.

16 unbeaten in all comps. I'll take that.

Completely agree.

I will add I thought Williams had a very good game.

I thought Cooper did quite well too.

A poor game of football quality wise, mistakes everywhere, neither team had much interest in defending which made it exciting to watch at least.

Good to get minutes into some players, Sean could have done with getting a goal to boost his clearly low confidence.

Don’t agree Broomo about us potentially being four nil up before they got started, they missed three good chances in the first ten minutes including one inside the first minute.

I think expectations have raised greatly to see your opinions, which I think are balanced, I don’t think it was a poor game overall, and considering 8 changes I think we battered them 1st half 2nd was more scrappy, but we did have players again playing lots of mins with players still getting up to speed…. So I think poor is harsh we rallied and got the win, and scored 3 and got a important win going into Saturday

Spot on and that’s what Clough said in the post match too, quite easily have been Donny 2-0 up instead.

Decent to get a win it we didn’t play particularly well. Glad Gale has got a couple, hopefully he starts with Akins Saturday. Swan could have the moment he needs off the bench infront of 4000 of us.
