Wonder how many are paid up to date ?
These are my opinions , if you don't like them I have others...

Again, I’m not a builder, but could we rip out the first 8/10 rows of the west stand lower, replace with boxes built in, the space gained bring the pitch towards the west, creating more space for a decent bishop st stand?
Or extend the two ends to two tier stands?

True enough, I don't know how long it would take to simply flatten the Bish and tarmac it over. However, it only took a few weeks to knock the old West Stand down and of course you aren't wasting money as you are doing work that will be needed. I suspect ground work, fencing etc will be needed for any temp structure.

The big concrete & steel chewing machine that pulled down the old West Stand, didn't have to do it from the pitch, it just squatted on the car park behind the stand.

I'd expect taking the Bish down might be a more delecate operation.

Asked Mezza the groundsman about it last year. He said they would have to get machinery on the pitch to demolish it. If that's what the appeal to MDC is about to be able to do it from the other side.

We have the new digital pitch side adverts & score board they could be switched to ? which I think are more eye catching

No idea of figures but I doubt those paying for advertising that currently props up the Bishop St stand will be paying big money , especially as they get no benefit to the wider public with the camera being over there.

Surely all the advertising on Bishop Street could be moved elsewhere, such as in the corners whilst any work takes place.

What 15 games unbeaten,4th round of the cup, and 4 points off first place in the league, shocking isn't it?

To demolish the bish wouldn’t take long, it’s the access. All the council need to do is provide parking for residents until this is done and ground work prepared for new stand. Plenty of random car parks nearby councill could acquire for a few weeks and let them park there until sorted. If they genuinely gave a damn about there constituents they would sort it asap

Let's not forget these are peoples homes we are talking about and they probably would oppose anything that change their day to day life, i know I would if i lived there.

The only way around it is if we can get to a probably very expensive compensation solution for the inconvenience caused to them.

There isn't any simple solution to this, although some people on here think differently, if there was, it would have been done by now.

The simplest solution I can think of is to make the bishop street into a basic non-seater stand. I’m not sure if this matches the club’s ambition however.

Christ has no one on here ever heard of architectural engineers ,its a limited space but something can be built there without a doubt, it is what it is either by pinching a few metres of the pich and re configuring the rest of the stands its certainly not undoable

Wow you were there and quoted, We won’t need a new stand playing like this. Some of the best football we’ve played in a long long time. There’s only one person needs to get back in his box
