Got a feeling having a fully rested Swan, means he will start and this is where we'll see him get us a goal or two.

What gives you that feeling? Blind optimism? He's been hopeless this season. Can't even get on as a sub.

Agree he's not been that great yes.
I just think in his last few cameos he has showed gradual signs of improvement. Baby steps, but gradually showing he is getting there.

It was commented on in his last performance at home for us that he was making good runs that weren't being spotted.

I can't help but feel with how well we passed the ball last night and how much sharper we were, had he played last night he would have made those good runs and caused a headache for what was seemingly a very immobile back line for Wrexham apart from Mendy (who was a left back playing right back)

This won’t be an easy game by any means but I think the players will be anxious to get the three points. I expect another powerhouse performance from the midfield which will see us through 3-1.

This could be tougher than last nights game, Wimbledon rate very highly in terms of underlying numbers, and of course in the league table itself. Al Hamadi will be difficult to keep quiet.

They've had a very kind run of fixtures.

I agree James, we have had some tough games so far, Stockport, Wrexham, Gillingham, Bradford, Colchester and Notts to come.
Mansfield Town, my club even though been exiled in London since 1983.

Yes, that’s a good point. They’ve not beaten s top half side yet, but have only lost one game to Stockport, drawing against Crewe and Wrexham.

For me he needs to give swan a run in the team, for some posters to say he’s useless is beyond laughable.

He should’ve been on yesterday as it was clear their side didn’t like being ran at with pace which clearly swan would’ve done.

I’d be hoping he starts on saturday. We need the win.

Dare I say yet another reason why most stats are worthless :D I dare say if they'd had our run of games they'd not be second.

Its those underlying numbers that are halting the progression of the Bishop. Damn them.

If the same players are fit then I expect NC to pick the same team and formation on Saturday.
In his recent press conferences he has complimented the opposition teams on how improved they are or the dangers they possess.
I think the line up is abit more cautious.......(Maris drops deeper than DKD.)

Personally, I would pick Swan alongside Akins for Saturday, they have to click together soon (Surely)
Or be brave and pick Swan and Gale (Akins on Bench)....give it a try !!

I hope he goes back to DKD at attacking midfielder regardless of who else he picks around him..

They might be, they’ve played 5 of the same teams we have and we’re one point better off through those fixtures (although they drew with Crewe at home rather than away).

You can only judge them on who they’ve played against so far, just needs some context.

Our underlying numbers suggest we are in League 2. That's 4th tier. I can see how that's confusing to some. And we often play with 11 players, but sometimes 10, but to compound matters we'll kick off the game at 3pm. That's 3. soooo.... make of that what you will.

But after some pretty rigorous analysis of those underlying numbers my calculations suggest a Mansfield town win.
You've got to go there and come back, to know where you've been.

Thing is they've got all these formulas and ratings and the like. Then once they've crunched all the numbers and plotted their graphs the conclusion from last night's game is..... Stags should have scored 1 maybe 2 and Wrexham could have nicked a goal.

Really need to do all that algebra, when just watching the game gave you all the info you needed.
