Salford City have signed midfield player Dan Chesters (21) on loan. He can also play in defence and attack. Sounds like a potential target for the Stags. He was on loan at Col U last season and made 6(8) league apps.

Seen a few posters say that there’s been no good strikers moving about/available this window, but to me there’s been a fair few. McKirdy going to Swindon even though they’re rubbish and supposedly skint, Marriott to Wrexham, Stockton (who I’d have loved here) to Barrow, Drinan to Swindon, Doidge going to FGR, Wimbledon have signed a striker who’s banged in 14 league goals in the national league so far this season.
