Maybe the club should stop allowing dodgy politicians using its brand for propaganda purposes.

That applies to Meale, Bradley, Anderson & Sunak.

As soon as these torags drape themselves in OUR colours it becomes Stags related. They bring OUR club into disrepute.

Bar the fact there is some dislike certain politicians for whatever reason (mainly political sway), I fail to see how this brings the club into disrepute. The only way this happens, if if they have been involved in a certain scandals ie someone like Neil Parish who watched porn in the house of Commons.

The fact is, if it had been someone you liked politically, you wouldn't have an issue with it.

A football club should stay politically impartial, even if the owners are open badge waving Tories.

Amongst our number you'll have raging foam at the mouth right wingers and yogurt knitting left wingers and all in between, all with different opinions. The fact that our shirt gets thrown to a politician of any persuasion lessons it's value to someone like me, who is particularly hateful to what this sample have done to our nation and it's people.

You go to the football to get away from their meddling.

Let’s make it Mansfield Town related then. How’s he got his hands on a replica shirt when there’s none in the club shop?

Pear mate no Govt in history has been mired in as many scandals and blatant corruption as this one.

Even your MP was a local lad (or lass) who'd been a regular at Field Mill since year dot, then while I'd be happy to see them at the club on a match day, I'd still be narked if they used the club as an advertising platform, ragardless of their political persuasion.

At the risk of being controversial, you could argue that the club (Haslam) actually brought Meale into disrepute. He'd been a low profile regular at Field Mill for years before Haslam took over & had a largely scandal free albeit bone idle tenure as MP until he got to cosy with the Dark Lord.

Let's not forget that Meale's association with Haslam led to his involvement in a court case and a letter of complaint to the Speaker of the Commons from a Senior Police Officer.

Yes and Meale was also criticised on here far more than any Tory ever has been, without moderation, leading eventually to board users being threatened with legal action. You'll never, ever be able to fully split sport and politics, so much intertwines them, this latest few pages was stimulated by just that, a picture of Two Tories, not well liked ones it has to be said, with our shirt. Its a difficult one yo moderate as it was always going to go off on one

Anyway, I'm off to knit some yoghurt.

To be fair Alan Meale did nothing for Mansfield.
At least Ben Bradley posts selfies from time to time.

To be fair the talk about Meale was more Stags related as we tried to tip his car over in the car park at Shrewsbury.

The two hat was not too happy about it, possibly because he was sat in it at the time.

Is it wise to admit to criminal damage & assault on a public forum?

It was tongue in cheek, however if you were in a car & a dozen or so football fans started trying to tip your car over it, with you in it. Would you consider that an assault?

I stand by the comment.

Only a moron would think it's clever to attack an MP (or anyone for that matter).

How many of you were there, trying to intimidate a bloke on his own? Diid it make you feel like real tough guy?
