Good 1st half looked solid throughout the team...
Derby had a spell of running out of ideas their number 7 looks an handful but mal holding his own.... a bit more ball control up front could pay dividons with a goal Khan an handful strong in the air Walker just needs to get closer and anticipate Davies winning the flick on...
Overall good 1st half

Cameron's injury might seal his fate as to whether we sign him?
What sort of injury is it?
If i look in pain it's because i'm thinking

That is a shame. We need another centre half. Mirfin and cameron can't be relied upon.
White has to play wingback or maybe ando?
You've got to go there and come back, to know where you've been.

Great second half, watched it on Rams player. The second string look better than the first! Angol, Mellis, Omari, CJ and Butcher played very well.

I tend to agree about Digby. He could do a job at the back and in midfield.

agree with the two posts above, the second team played better at Bradford too and we need to keep right imo

Missed the game but sounds very encouraging! Glad to see Graham scored, he looks a good prospect from what I’ve seen of him and also happy to hear Digby had a good game - I would like to see him stay, thought he was useful when he played last year.

Graham
Angol penalty
CJ
Got the goals.
Impressed by both squads also think butcher and digby still should be given a chance to play this season.

First goal by Graham after goalie had a Kariuss moment. Second Angol penalty after he won the foul. Third brilliant breakaway involving Graham Angol who slipped it to CJ to score

Excellent performance from the stags!!!
Khan, benning,Hamilton, angol and sterling were all impressive.
Jordan graham with first goal
Two mins later mason Bennett scored
Angol got a penalty after 15mins
Hamilton passed the ball into the net after a great counter attack by us stags
Half the derby fans left after the penalty and it was a great atmosphere and great start for us and we schooled them

Great bit of work by OSJ to win the ball back and get the move going for the third goal.

Very very early days but Graham looks like he could be some player. Not just the fact he scored tonight but his strength and composure for a young lad is something else

Good Graham goal following keeper howler
Angol from peno spot what he won after Nyle Blake played a defence splitting ball following good work from butcher.
CJ goal came on break after Sterling got the ball on halfway line cut inside and played brilliant ball with outside of foot Angol did rest half rounded keeper and fed to CJ for tap in.

Looked like Cameron was done. Definitely his ankle again. Thumped the ground in frustration. Gutted for him to be honest.
Again second half team looked better. Though White was excellent at centre back. Preston, Bishop and Davies did well. Not seen anything from Walker yet. Khan was a mixed bag, mostly wasteful.
Mellis, OSJ, Angol look so much sharper than last season. Graham played really well and proved he can take a chance. Butcher also put his foot in nicely. Digby composed. Youngsters didn’t look out of place, Blake with one great pass to Angol. C.J. defended really really well. Poor from Bobby for their goal, probably does his hopes no good.
