That was so comfortable and yet we find ourselves behind due to a really poor goal. We need more going forward, we need DKD to get hold of the ball and stop trying to flick it every time he gets it.

Very cruel on Hewitt, not helped by a hospital ball from Flint.

Didn't even blame Bowery, it's brunt's fault for Miss kicking it but once JB and Mullin are pulling eachother and engaged In the box he has to go with him not run past him. Never once said the words that's JBs fault

Were capable of it ourselves, we need to get a grip. Get Quinny on for Lewis

If Brunt clears that and we go in nil, nil it would have been a brilliant half. Controlled the midfield and the ball. Got to change our approach now and show I bit more in their box.

I think Brunt is injured as well. He’s not been moving right since he received that treatment.

massive second half required here, if we genuinely believe we are good enough to get out of this league in the top three, we have to get something today otherwise our confidence may be shot for Monday.

These types of games at this time of the season, separate the men from the boys, come on stags, you gotta make this happen.

McLean should have had a 2nd yellow for that late tackle on the edge of the area, ref didn't even give a foul and comms didn't even mention it! So pro Wrexham it's embarrassing.

Lots of annoying and frustrating things in that first half that I doubt Clough will be happy with.

Players pulled out of position for the goal, the scuffed clearance by Brunt and no one reacting as quickly as Mullin. Ollie Clarke wasting his booking on an inocuious trip when he could’ve at least had a nibble at McLean to try and force a retaliation. Expect either Maris or Quinn or both second half. Swanny the bright spark by running the channels and DKD finding pockets of space but nothing coming of it.

Far from over, if we can get an equaliser I’d fancy us to nick it.

It’s almost as if it’s not just the three points they are after. Bad fouls on Hewitt and Swann. The referee needs to step up and do his job.

What a take to take away. You show me where I've said "see, I knew we shouldn't have started him". Where have I said I was right to not to start him? Where did I say he shouldn't have started bar since you got upset about comments.

I could easily say you're more upset that he's gone off early rather than him getting a serious injury. Considering you're attacking everyone who wouldn't have started him. Nobody has said I told you so.

I wish Elliot all the best recovering from this setback.

Mine was just match fitness.

Totally agree. If they’d replayed his first tackle we might have seen he should have been off. Hearing Hewitt lost two teeth?

Notts County away was the last time we won a game in all competitions after conceding first, back in October.

In the ten games since Notts away where we’ve conceded first, we have won 0, drawn 3 and lost 7. Feels ominous this.

The score updates from other games are bloody annoying.

Clarke, Akins, Flint & DKD not really at it first half & I think we can see now why Macca hasn't been starting.

The problem with not being match fit isn't about not lasting 90 minutes, it's that timing and decision making will be on the rusty side. There's a good chance that Hewitt would have avoided the danger had he been a bit sharper.

I think we need Quinn on to draw a few fouls and Wrexham bookings.

We don’t want it enough for me and need to let them know we are on the pitch. Work, work, work and work a bit more. I think Maris will be on soon for Clarke as we can’t risk a red card.

A game we've edged but 3 mistakes for the goal.

Macca caught on the back foot to the ball inside which then means Lewis has to track the runner better, he doesn't, then Brunt is the most unfortunate of the 3 as the ball comes across but he really has to clear it.

I'd be thinking about Quinn for Clarke or Lewis.

Macca looks vulnerable.

Nichhos and Gale come on.

Swan and Brunt make way

Akins to RB and Bowery to CB.

Any player would have come off badly after that horrendous challenge. Hewitt’s fitness has nothing to do with it. Be interesting what NC has to say about it.
