Exodus Geohaghon, so instrumental in Mansfield's fantastic run at the end of last season, when he was on loan from Darlington, has signed for Kidderminster Harriers in a one year deal.

I knew assistant manager Gary Whild from Redditch, he looked after me there and that was definitely a big factor.

I also knew Steve Burr from England C and that helped too.

It was also a big thing that they want me to lead the side out.

It's fairly local for me here, so everything was in tune.

There was the offer to go back to Mansfield. But what was being offered me [at Mansfield] wasn't really benefitting me so I had to turn them down.
