16/August/2010 23:40:20

BBC Non-League Show, 16 Aug 2010

Understands in final stages of talks, and discussions ongoing, with Premier Sports, to show Conference matches on Sky Channel 433.
Matches could be shown on a Thursday night.
Subscription will cost £6.99 per month.

Neither Conference nor Premier Sports would confirm anything.

Announcement expected over next 48 hours.

According to Ryan McKnight from FC Business:
Money simply not there to be of much financial benefit to the clubs. So clubs will not get much cash.
Big question marks whether Premier Sports will be able to get enough subscribers.

It transpires that the Conference turned down a deal with the BBC for weekend highlights. What utter fools.
