Stags let duo go
Mansfield assistant manager John Gannon has confirmed that the Field Mill club have released trialists Mark Darko and Mark Caine.

But trialists Luke Dimech, Sheikh Kamara and Chris Howard will continue to train with Keith Curle's men.

"We'll have a longer look at three of the trialists and test their fitness this week," Gannon told the club's official website.

Meanwhile, a youthful Mansfield side let a two-goal lead slip to draw 2-2 in a friendly with Selby Town on Wednesday.

Lance Mulligan scored a penalty and then laid on a goal for Caine to double the Stags advantage after 35 minutes.

However, Selby pulled one back before the break through Alan Howard and equalised with a Craig Kimmett slotting the penalty given away by a foul from Darko.
