Even though many in the ground thought adam Murray was playing the April fool and deploying is dreadful defensive football once again, I was heartened by what I heard from the ground - yes the referree looked 12, yes we caused our own downfall but what was best was fans talking about how close we were to the playoffs....
We've came on leaps and bounds since SE took over - and yes he's made mistakes - 2 up top generally works as opposed to 1 and going defensive after 60 minutes doesn't work .
Does anyone else really look forward to next season, even though we've a chance of going
Up? Chesterfield Coventry county Grimsby probably Lincoln - if not Lincoln - Ontop SE will have had all summer to work with them and bring in new players.
Off the pitch we've came on leaps and bounds, the club is unrecognisable off the pitch...
Don't be down heartened by today's reversal, the future is bright.

I thought today was one of the best games I've seen for a long time. Two teams going for it and unfortunately we lost at the death. Not long back they would have beaten us easily. I really believe we are capable of beating any side in the division now whereas a few months ago I couldn't see us winning any game. Evans does need an out and out goal scorer in the summer but where from? The future is much brighter nowadays!!! COYS

Today's result I'd a fookinh disaster. Means we need to win at Doncaster.
You've got to go there and come back, to know where you've been.

It means another season in league 2. Clearly we aren't quite there yet. If anyone can get us there it's SE. But come on, league 2 will be exciting with County, Cheaterfield and Lincoln next season.

I really enjoyed the game today until the last 30 seconds.
Logic is lost in your cranial abatoir,
Shallow empty inside,
Sly witted and full of snide.

I agree. It was a very good game between two very good teams - but a terrible decision by the ref spoiled it.
A point would have been fair, but fair play to both teams who were still trying to win it deep into injury time.
