Are you counting the friendly there?

I hope he does very well, chance of a bigger fee for us.

That is the risk for Walsall - we keep him or someone else steps in. Clearly the latter is more likely

I'd assume 3 league goals and 1 today in the cup.

Ah yes sorry, was thinking he scored two in the first game for some reason.

we’d play him in defence.
Why play a forward who can score upfront when you can play him in defence and then get sent off?

I did wonder. DJ's hattrick was mentioned quite a bit that opening day.
I had to check that Walsall had a cup game today and wasn't playing a friendly instead

He’s improved a bit then since you kept calling him a cone.

Thankfully so.
Ironically that was also when he was being played in the incorrect position uptop.
Play him on the wing where he lives and he’ll do just fine.

You know we're going to hear about every time he's kicked a ball now until he's back off his loan

Always thought he looked a bit like the actor Damian Lewis.
Maybe we had the actor.

DJ was a disruptive influence, hated by some players, refused to train and left team meetings early in a hissy fit.
Well rid

Watched the highlights from last night, scored a calmly taken pen. Bit generous to credit him with making the second, a nice run but a weak shot straight at the keeper which he fumbles and was tapped in by the other striker.

Who’s to blame ? He scored for fun at orient so is it the scouting to what his game is all about or is it the managers fault for giving it the green light to sign him without looking at the orient side to how they provide /create chances for him ? He’s now flourishing under a another manager it seems . Any wonder why JR put the block on a permanent transfer ..

Certainly have to question the recruiting of DJ. He’s been good either side of his spell at MTFC. Strange.
