Did anyone see him at the Rotherham game?
Is he on trial somewhere?

Walsall fans seem to think they’re interested.

A very good player who just doesn’t fit our style of play
Good luck to him

Hope they are, Will free up some funds for a decent striker who does fit our style of play.
Good luck to Danny but it just didn’t work out here

Saw some fans suggesting we’ll struggle to get rid of him - no chance. He scored 20 goals for Orient season before last. I imagine we’re just holding out for the right fee at the minute.

would love to know what went off here, Cloughie bought him, knew his style of play then boom never plays again, is this an example of NC uttering those famous words “ you’ll never play for the club again” ?

the latest news from Nigel Clough is that he hasn't been featuring in our games due to interest from one club.

Injuries came at the wrong time and for too long, in that time tactics changed and Oates became number one striker.
I think DJ will flourish in the right set up, he's still a good player in my view.

Doesn't have to have been anything gone off, just maybe a manager signing a player and him not turning out to be what the manager wanted, or other players getting ahead of him. Not everything has to be a fall out, it's not Eastenders.

Interesting that the bookies have Oates and Johnson at 33/1 for top League 2 goalscorer. Needless to say I've had a few groats on Oates each way.

When Lee Angol is 16/1 they’re great odds on Oates.

Especially now the boundary has been moved and it’s just Clipstone now.
