it’s a slow week

Is there a live cam of said grass so I can watch it grow? It's the only thing coming through at the moment Stags wise.

That bottom left pic looks a bit humpy, is it a cunning plan.

That first home game with a new pitch is going to be a delight to see as you enter the ground for the first time in over a year.

It's about a week behind on sunlight hours, nearly 7 weeks before first game on it.
Is it artificial grass for technical areas.

Look at the bishop Street and the scoreboard... Lol.

When the new bishop is ever built, please can we have an integrated scoreboard that works. You forget how bad this running joke is.

But the pitch is coming on well.

I would prefer no scoreboard at all rather than that useless effort.

In the age of smart phones, other than confirm the substitutions for those that have not listen to Alan’s announcement, what does a scoreboard do? Latest scores are updated instantly by varying apps, team changes are instantaneous, time keeping is by the referee and most score apps have the number of extra minutes played etc etc. Other than advertise Bapp for Bolts I can’t see a new or working scoreboard being a legitimate expenditure.

Sorry if I've missed it somewhere, but is there something different being done this year? What's to stop the pitch going to pieces again in autumn and rain collecting on that West side?

It's awful when there's 4,500 Stags crammed into that one stand at half time, there's nearly a crush on if you want to get to the bogs or go for a drink at half time.

I'm not surprised it's in good nick, the ball was in the air so much yesterday it wouldn't get worn out by tippy tappy football
