We could be signing a player who is local, bred through our academy, captained a good league 1 club, is in his peak, is sought after by clubs just relegated from the championship and would strengthen our first XI.

Still people finding reason to moan!

or

a different opinion to discuss on a fans message board

Which is fair, but i’d struggle to understand anyone who went “oooh no, not naylor he wouldn’t work” when he’s the portsmouth captain.

We do seem to sometimes have a slightly unrealistic approach to where we stand in the pecking order at times.

absolutely like i said in my original post on the matter under the radfords we’ve been able to pull of such things, my point was it’s almost like some are saying we don’t need or wouldn’t benefit from naylor when realistically we really would

Stephen Quinn could be waiting for his June pay day which will probably also include his one month severance pay (£2,600 per week according to Salary Guess).

Agreed...

Sick of seeing this salary guess site being mentioned all the time...

It's clearly untrue.

Lucas Atkins probable, Naylor has three options, including us. Expect moves next week.

£2,600 per week for Stephen Quinn is not a bad guess and probably in the right ball park.

Most quality players and loans will not be available until after the euros or when the premier league clubs finalise their squads , Goal keeper, central defender, striker, our season depends on getting it right, we will have to get use to that word, Patience.
We are into the play off finals now, and then the Euros, and then looking at our pre -season, that is my plan [till tomorrow ]

Sounds like you've got an inside line. Someone else said elsewhere it's a done deal.

The positive selling points we've got is:

A good manager that he knows.
Local guy 'coming home'
Can get a promotion here and will be back in L1 next season.
We're a well paying club.
You've got to go there and come back, to know where you've been.

Chill--Chill i have decided to relax enjoy the summer, with over 286 championship players without a contract, and over 233 from league 1 without contracts.
This is not counting players offered a new deal and have not yet signed, or any player that can be signed with a fee involved.
With a maximum of 7 places left from our original 8,,there is a lot of big decisions to be made and for the sake of our season, we must get it right.
So we dont want names, just the right players, The transfer window does not close until 31st August, so 7 players with about 8 weeks to go, and perhaps 2 of them are goalkeepers.
So relax it is and concentrate on season ticket sales, Income is what remains vital to the club moving forward, getting players is the easy part paying for them is something the fans can help with, The bigger the revenue the brighter the future.
Billy sharpe, Connor Shaughnessy, Kerion Westwood,= forgot im chilling out

One particular player mentioned with a poor goal record but played at a very high level... I think this place would implode if true
