I thought One Call had been hacking folk from your title

edit - you've now changed the title so my comment looks out of place!

That article doesn’t shed good light on JR either. What’s the usual outcome of these ransomware attacks?

What is the normal outcome of this type of blackmail?

Generally it is pay up but don’t let it be known that you have paid up.

Events like this put real focus on the Company - was the security adequate? did they do the right thing when they found out? What have they done since?

This could have serious implications for One Call. A story to follow closely

Could this have repercussions on our planned transfer business?

Cyber attacks going all over at the minute. Take a look at the Irish news and New Zealand news. Its bonkers.... something as silly as opening up a spam email.

They initially go unnoticed, doing things in the background and bang...

I bet Radford wishes he was in charge of Chesterfield. They could just offer them their manager and tell them to keep the change.

Is blackmail tax deductible? I'm sure the accountants will sort it all out.
I'll still stick with them next year, find them a very good firm who replaced my windscreen extremely quickly.

I’ve also had a very recent good dealing with them. Can’t fault them at all and a cheap quote too.

Why? There is only so much a company can do in terms of hacking protocol. Provided One Call can prove they have adequate cyber protocols in place, they won't get a fine.

Depends as they’ve a duty of care for private details and they’ll have stuff like home addresses, VRN and credit card details. When I was at The AA there were some big twitches over data breaches.

I think you need an invoice for it to be tax deductible. Something easily solved by cutting out letters from the Sun and a pritt stick .

There’s so many errors in there it’s embarrassing. And that last photo they’ve used they should be ashamed of themselves.

The Daily Mail have clearly not been following Carolyn on social media recently looking at the old photos they are using. She needs to sack her PR manager.

Very poor by the Daily Mail including a Lee Collins photo.
