I think The Picture of Dorian Gray is not on many Stags fans list of books read.

I'm sure there are loads of Morrissey fans out there Mark who love to read a bit of Oscar Wilde.

He got us out of the abyss of the conference and put some solid foundations down, which so far haven't been built on. (hopefully NC continues the build)
That night in Hereford will be with me until the day I die and in 40 years of following the Stags is my number one game, it still brings a tear to my eye/
Seemed a really nice bloke who just let the pressure of the FL get to him in his last season with us.
However, he deserves a place at the chairpersons table for as long as we have a football league club.

As for the comments on his playing style, I'd say this: in all my years at the Mill I've seen very, very few teams playing tikka takka. Why can't we just enjoy our success when it comes around so rarely? I'll always associate him with great times, winning football and the rise of the Radfords. Decent bloke too.

I think it was probably more due to the budget being cut.

It would've been interesting to see how we would've done if he had the same budget Evans and Flitcroft got. The momentum could have carried on that season
Also the amount of injured players didn't help.Dan wrote:stag324 wrote:Paul Cox will always be a hero in my eyes.
