A match to forget unfortunately. Long spells of possession and some neat touches but no real sign of a goal.

Salford didn’t deserve 2-0 but we were toothless and obviously experimenting and giving game time to youngsters. A good save by Stone to keep the penalty out and then the game was as good as over.

Here’s hoping Rawson is not seriously injured and I thought he should have given way to the keeper who was always going to get there first and was also facing up the pitch. Maybe he didn’t trust the young lad but whatever he took a fair old thump and I wish him well. An accidental collision between two committed players.

Really disappointed that our players left Pardington alone during that incident, soul destroying for a young goalkeeper. Only Perch eventually stepped up to pass the ball between them. They need to understand he is part of our team whatever has happened.

Why wasn't he ready? Because 2 players had a collision? That happens no matter how experienced you are.

Are you joking? Obviously not just because of that, he was all over the place,

As I say I do feel for him, not his fault he’s been put in this situation.

You can only make that assumption once you've seen him play. So should we not play any young lads in nothing games on the off chance they aren't quite ready.

His first kick went into touch and his third bobbled up for him so the kick was poor.
It is almost as though he is expected to be flawless on his, debut. I think it speaks volumes for him that he finished the game looking calm even though he will have been all over the place mentally.

They had the "best keeper in the league" He passed straight to Sinclair in the first few minutes and sent loads of passes into touch.

Kev Pilkington was horrific at kicking. Bloody good keeper though.

Rarely have I cared less about a Stags defeat. Just can't wait until next season, peas and mint sauce and a cup of tea so hot you can't drink it for an hour.

Bowery and Reid possibly the worst strike force to have graced the Mill ! Absolutely shocking in my opinion!

I don’t think we are that far off at the back (without Gordon) and the midfield is definitely good enough. Our problems are up front and the addition of two good strikers would see us up there as teams would be chasing the game instead of us. If you don’t put your good chances away, you don’t win many and if we could change that we will be ok.

I’m not saying the defence doesn’t need an addition but overall they are adequate.

Given we are a midtable team based on Cloughs results since he came in, pretty confident.

Salford brought home all our problems and it was there for us to see, lack of experience in attack, and lack of experience in the defence, something we have known for a while.
Salford where more silky on the ball and their players looked more comfortable with the ball, We certainly lack quality in both penalty areas.
Having said that they shared the 6 points over the season 3 each, so it was pleasing to see our lads shown 100% commitment.
All my best wishes to Rawson in is recovery, and Pardington was certainly excited when coming on,
Two more matches watching Clough plan for the 21/22 campaign

Currently 3 points of the playoffs won 3 - drawn 1 - lost 1 over the last 5 games, taking a point here would be a good result

Team worth over 6 million ,think your over estimating slightly :o
