Watching him now on Countdown. He is a big lad. Mentioned Stags as one of his clubs.

He did OK although he lost.

Didn't understand what job he is doing in football at the moment.

Didn't Neil Mckenzie go on Countdown and win it once?

He's been quite vocal about preferring us over the years, think he might have even mentioned it in his book tbh

Dave Caldwell finished his career at them over the road too.. Who cares. . Two players that will live long in the memories of Stags fans.. How we could do with those pair in their prime lining up in Amber next season.

Paul didn’t go directly to Chesterfield from here; he was at Sheffield Utd first. When he was let go I’m sure Haslam could have put in a bid for him had he been so minded.

I’ve been a supporter for over 70 years, and Paul Holland was the best box to box midfielder I’ve seen.

I did not recognise him. I watch Countdown but always record it so I skip through the introductions and ads.

H*slam was offered him as we had first refusal. But because he refused to spend the money it was actually H*slam who rang his mate at Cheaterfield and said he’s available if you want him and that’s why he went there.

Proof indeed Dan ( if anymore was needed) what our former chairman thought of us as fans.

I agree, such a shame his knee injury blighted his career. He and Hodgson would be my best ever Stags central midfield.
