Southend are still looking for the win though. Good effort by Dieng from edge of area.

Southend keeper, Oxley, seems happy with a draw.

Southend projected its based on PPG : 41

Based on us getting three points minimum out of our last 6 games, Southend will need 4 wins and a draw from their last 6.

FT: Morecambe 1 Southend 1

Morecambe created the most chances but a draw was a fair result.

Emile Acquah is only 20 and a bit of a unit. Still plenty of time for him to come good.

I know he's only 20. I don't see any promise in him though. He might have more of a chance to do better for them in the Conference, in the likely event that they go down.

Southend should have a good chance of beating Crawley at home on Saturday. They then have Exeter away and the big Essex derby at Col U.

He's big and strong and can hold the ball up. He's the type of young player who could drop down into the National League and do well and make his way back up again.

£5 says he doesn't play in the EFL again after this season Darren.

Darren will insist on waiting 15 years until Acquah is 35 before paying out, so I was just factoring in some inflation
