He’s one of them. So they’re doomed. Long may he be there

Hes another Michael Jolly type... all talk and zero actual experience in football.. very similar to a fan that thinks they know it all.

That's a bit unfair. He has experience in football.

Whether he will be any good for County is a different matter.

Hardly...

I know you don't need to have played to be a good manager but those that take that route always have a good background at good clubs.

County's manager has a degree from Leeds uni and his uefa badges, no real experience to draw upon.. His record at the clubs he has managed, less than 100 games is quite poor.

Id be absolutely fuming if we had ever appointed someone like him. The Danes are playing football manager with county, its quite funny.

As I say, whether he will be a good manager for County in another matter, but he has been involved in over 200 games as an assistant or a manager, so to say he lacks experience is unfair IMO.

As an assistant.. that's it. Thats a bit of experience and in my eyes, 1. Not enough and 2. Not the right experience. Can see why you think its an unfair comment but im so glad were not appointing gambles like that. They might get away with it at that level.

Why are we even talking about this appointment Surely it just emphasises that they will not be back in the league any time soon. End of !

HT Notts County 0-1 Aldershot

I'm watching this game on the live stream.

Notts County "toothless" in the words of Charlie Slater, and that would be an understatement.

Soft penalty for Aldershot when Ellis put his arm across Panayiotou who went down very easily. Panayiotou converted the penalty. Later Panayiotou was very unlucky when he cracked the crossbar. Nothing from Notts County at all.

Notts lost 1 -O. They sounded woeful. No shots on goal until 87 minutes ( by Knowles ).

FT Notts County 0-1 Aldershot

Aldershot well-deserved winners.

Notts County were terrible. They had just two chances in the entire game and they both fell to Jimmy Knowles who drew a save from the keeper and fired into the side netting.

What are they doing with the points gained from Dover.
Not sure if the table reflects these results.

Barnet  what has happened to them? I know they've always been a bit of a yo-yo side between conf and league two but those stats are shocking

In their defence, they scored 3 against a pub team.

Notts actually moved up a place after that as they had lost at Dover on the first day of the season so didn’t lose any points like most other teams did.
